History and Charitable Objects
The charity was set up many years ago whereby a sum of money was invested and the income from the investment is to be used for the prevention or relief of poverty. The objects are to relieve, either generally or individually, persons resident in the Borough of Ipswich who are in conditions of need, hardship or distress. The Trustees will consider each application, and if applicable, will make a donation depending on the funds available and the needs of the individual or household.
How to Apply
Please apply by using the attached Application Form or by writing or email to Mrs Helen Hewitt as detailed below. Applications can only be made through a Support Worker or Organisation, such as Social Care, Housing Provider, Health Visitor and Schools. We do not support gereral expenses, such as utilities, rates and taxes, but we do support specific items such as school clothing and educational needs, essential household equipment and soft furnishings and help with decorating costs.
